At the virtual Ad Hoc Group Senior Officials’ Meeting in October 2020 it was agreed that the Regional Support Office (RSO) to the Bali Process would revitalize the Bali Process digital platforms to improve user experience. The redesigned website will be engaging, mobile-friendly, user-friendly and informative, as well as attractive and professional in aesthetics. The redesigned website will be a single Bali Process platform that replaces the need for multiple websites such as the Secure Members Portal. The new website will be formally launched as part of the 20th Anniversary of the Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime in 2022.
The redesigned website will clearly communicate the objectives of the Bali Process and highlight its work, products and events. In addition, all relevant resources and training material that is currently hosted on other Bali Process platforms (such as the Secure Members Portal) will be accessible via the new website without the need to login through a separate account. To support our digital transformation, the Bali Process Members Portal will cease to operate on 30th April 2021.
As of 30 April 2021, the Secure Members Portal is closed.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for their services and dedication in supporting the Bali Process Members Portal. The RSO looks forward to launching the new Bali Process digital platform in 2022.
